Webster in Albany, New York. <head>Scope and Content Note</head> <p><note><p>In this handwritten and signed letter, Albany, New York, bookbinder Daniel Steele informs New York City bookseller, Robert Moore of a shipment of ten bundles of scale board which is being sent by way of the sloop <emph render="italic">Ontario</emph>.</p></note></p><p>The letter includes a bill of sale and instructions to remit the payment to the sloop's Captain Green.  The back side of the single-fold letter bears  address information,  a postmark, and an inscription suggesting the letter may have traveled with the ten bundles of scale board.</p> </scopecontent>
