Mentoring Program

Established in 1993, the mentoring program helps to provide professional staff with peer counselors and role models. The program consists of three levels of mentoring relationships, each addressing the needs of professional staff at different stages of their careers. The program is administered by the Mentoring Coordinator, who facilitates confidential matches between participants. Mentoring guidelines are available on the University of Delaware Library Assembly of Professional Staff (UDLAPS) Mentoring Program Guidelines and Procedures Web Page.

Dossier Preparation Workshop

Since 1991, UDLAPS has presented this annual program to serve individuals interested in discussing the University of Delaware Library rank and promotion process. The workshop offers instruction on the promotion process, tips on preparing dossiers, and the opportunity to examine sample dossiers.
