Biographical Note

Steven Leech is a native Delawarean, an alumnus of the University of Delaware, publisher and editor of Dreamstreets, a freelance writer, and a local radio disk jockey for WVUD. He has a particular interest in Delaware history and African American culture. He is the author of Raw Suck and Untime, and has republished several nineteenth century Delaware authors, including John Lofland and Tux Munce.


Scope and Content Note

The Steven Leech collection consists of 5.1 linear feet of material dating from 1960-2003. The collection largely includes material on various periodicals and other publications, including Dreamstreets, Out and About, Wilmington Spectator, and other Delaware area publications. The collection includes books, peridicals, magazines, newspapers, articles, audio cassette tapes, reel to reel tapes, VHS tapes, cartoons, photographs, mockups, pasteups, typescripts, manuscripts, drafts, programs, correspondence, posters, and leaflets.
