Biographical Note
Scope and Content Note
Series I is composed of posters promoting the exhibitions of single artists. Artists represented include Helen Frankenthaler, Ansel Adams, Keith Haring and Dale Chihuly.
Series II is devoted to group exhibitions. The shows promoted range from the Art Faculty of the University of Arizona to the Chicago Sculpture International to an opening routine "performed by Kilgore College Rangeretts and Stage Band." They have been arranged by the title of the exhibition, where known, or the last name of one of the artists exhibited. In some cases, the author of the original work depicted on the poster is noted.
Series III consists of a variety of events, promotions or themes independent of exhibitions of the plastic arts. This includes plays, a folk festival, an auction and tourism posters amongst others. These posters are arranged by title; the descriptions include information available from the poster, such as sponsoring institution or organization, applicable dates and the purpose of the poster.
