Engineering/Construction
Early printed books related to construction, fortifications, and engineering are a major strength of Special Collections. Ramelli's Machine, acquired as the Library's one millionth volume, is a particular highlight. Many of these books contain spectacular woodcut illustrations, such as the Agricola volume.
