Letter to Freddy: For Voice and Piano. Lyric by Gertrude Stein; music by Paul Bowles. New York: G. Schirmer, Inc. [1947]. Upon meeting Bowles in 1931, Gertrude Stein "renamed" him Freddy. Letter to Freddy contains the text of an early letter from Stein to Bowles which he set to music. This copy bears Bowles's signature on the cover.
