Microforms in the University of Delaware Library

Microform is a term used to describe materials in microfilm or microfiche format. Microfilm and microfiche are two different formats libraries use to preserve newspapers, magazines and journals.

The University of Delaware Library has a Microforms unit which contains more than 2,600,000 items in microfilm, microfiche, and microcard formats.

Other useful resources in the Microforms Unit are readers for Library items in microform, 4 CD-ROM stations and a Digital Mapping Station where you can make maps of anywhere in the United States.
